About OASIS

OASIS is an online research program website designed to serve as the information exchange channel between Hyundai Motor Group and universities.

Hyundai NGV was founded in 2000 as an affiliate company of Hyundai Motor Group, for the purpose of fostering talented R&D resources and exploring new and next generation vehicle technologies. We build an industry-academia R&D network in order to secure and identify source technologies for the future, operate a researcher scholarship program to foster young and skilled researchers, and lead the exchange of expertise and technologies to improve capabilities of Hyundai Motor Group's R&D researchers.

Through our online system OASIS, Hyundai NGV organizes programs for industry-academia collaboration research, aiming to establish an industry-academia R&D network, seek innovative ideas from outside research institutions and resolve Hyundai Motor Group’s R&D issues. OASIS, an acronym for Online Application System for Idea Suggestion, conveys our intent to vitalize Hyundai Motor Group’s research activities and become a source of expert ideas, as if an oasis brings life to a desert.

All programs held by Hyundai NGV will be processed through OASIS. We hope that professors at home and abroad, as well as many researchers visit and utilize the system frequently.
